Set List
For the first time, the two trendy gothic bands are sharing a Helvetian stage and playing live in Zurich on 27 September. In the opening act, the indie / wave band Fakir from Berne will heat up, after the concert DJ Miss B-havin will provide a gloomy atmosphere on the dance floor with unforgettable hits as well as old and new trouvés of the wave and gothic scene.
rhombus occur for the very first time ever in Switzerland. The British gothic-band, which also thrills live with its mix of gothic, rock and folk songs as well as beautiful alternating vocals, has their brand new album “Here Be Dragons” in their luggage and will certainly also tracks from the previous albums “Remembrance Day” and “Open The Sky” with the brilliant single “Anywhere” for the best. Certainly the highlight this fall in Gothic Rock.
Christine Plays Viola from Italy belong as well as rhombus spearhead of today’s gothic and post punk genres. And something else connects them: the label af music, which has blossomed within the last few years to the top label of the gothic and indie scene. The Italians offer a unique and creative sound, which partly reminds of Bauhaus, only to dive into new sound spectra. With a drummer who is considered by many to be among the best of his kind today, they too will delight completely. CPV are visiting Switzerland for the second time and will play tracks from their debut “Innocent Awareness” as well as divine songs from the new album.
fakir In addition to Zurich bands such as Twilight Empire or Déesse (also on af music), their native Bernese regions are among a handful of aspiring groups that have more than earned the title of “particularly valuable” in the indie scene in Switzerland. They are our hopefuls to support the most well-known Swiss dark rock band The Beauty Of Gemina in the fight for attention and to make us talk abroad.
