RHOMBUS LIVE RECORDING + DEAD EYES OPENED
Since the late 19th century man has strived to catch evidence of the Yeti on film in the Himalayas. On December 1st 2012 man will try catch the formidable live sound of Rhombus on tape in Leeds.
At last, Rhombus has given in to repeated requests and suggestion to record a live album. A barnstorming gig in March made Flock @ The Library in Leeds the obvious choice of location.
Will the band pull it off? Will your heckle make the final edit? Will they remember to press record? Anything could happen with the home team in front of the home crowd on what is poised to be a memorable night.
Rhombus play unashamed goth rock of the late 80s vintage, with “swirly top-end guitar sounds, strong bass and distinctive male vocals that are reminiscent of early Rosetta Stone” (Kaleidoscope). Rhombus play tight, tense, driven songs that are nevertheless so catchy you’ll find yourself singing them on your way home!
Dead Eyes Opened are a kaleidoscopic, psychedelic smorgasbord of influences, the crunch of metal guitars mixing with the darker synthpop sensibilities of Goth.
