We've had a fantastic weekend on the NFD tour. Meeting old friends and making acquaintance with lots of fab new people. So touched by the reception every night, thank you!Thank you to all the fantastic bands Cold in Berlin, 1919, Spire Circle, Gothzilla and GunPoint X. All a joy to work with. Neither is easy, so when this opportunity came up, we could do both. We receive lots of requests from people who want to see us play in lots of different places. NEW DATE: Saturday 27th December. The Fulford Arms, YorkBack in 2015, we conceived The Dead Week Spectacular. This quickly became our annual post Christmas gig, we welcomed many great acts to join us in York, survived floods, hurricanes and so much else.Then one year, we forgot to organise anything and someone else nicked it! Ho-hum! Though they did then invite us to play. This year the ball has been past on to the lovely people at BLEED. They've invited us back to do a joint headline with The Faces of Sarah, which sounds smashing. Bleed are much better at organising events than we are, we just have to rock up and do what we do best!

We're just back from Germany, where we had the honour of being invited to play at the wedding of Stefan Bock and Jan Ina. It was a wonderful event full of the best of people. It's quite touching when someone wants the songs you wrote to be part of their special day. We don't take that lightly. Thank you.We also joined by Haiko Heinz from dArtagnan for a couple of songs, pulling a fabulous performance without a single rehearsal.Big thanks to Adrian Atkins and Shelly Atkins for making it happen and to Carsten Frauendorf for managing all the technical aspects majestically.Thanks also to Plushy D'mone and Maria Delg for making up the team and looking after everything that needed looking after!

Trivia time, our song, The Longest Day, was written on the longest day by Rob and Ed in a rehearsal studio in an attempt to break through a period of artist inactivity and general "can't be arsed enough"A week later Lee, was there, then Alix, writing intensified. 16 months later we released a full album also called The Longest Day!

Hands up if you had a great time at The Giffard Arms last night?We all certainly did. Rhombus has a long history with this venue and we've had some incredible nights over the years.Before our return for a private event last November, we'd not played in nearly 10 years. Last night was like rolling back those years. Wonderful crowd, cracking atmosphere and Sam on sound and the brilliant new PA gave us the mighty sound you know and love.Thanks to The Glass House Museum and Steve Gibbons for cracking sets and to Brett Hall and everyone at The Giffard Arms for putting the show on and looking after us so well.
