Last year, when the world was going a little crazy (as it still is) We decided to put out a single and give any profit to the UNHCR. Rhombus believe that there is always hope and we wanted to show that.The proceeds from the limited run CD and download streams have far exceeded what we imagined. Rob has just sent of the latest donation.Massive thank you to everyone for supporting the UNHCR and the work they do supporting refugees all over the world!

Three weeks today, Rhombus return to Huddersfield for the first time in a few years.It's a hometown gig for us. Lee and Ed both live in the Hudd, and Alix lives south of town. Travelled all over Europe with us. Stolen in Sheffield in 2013Count 2 - CondeBought in 2013. We didn't like him as much. Stolen in a nameless one horse town in 2022Count 3 - The AccountantWe gave up on the mascots for a while, until the lovely Oh my Goth bought us a bigger and better version as a present in December 2023.This one has been fitted with an anti-thief device, and after making his debut in Germany last week. We plan to take him all over the world!!!!!

Danke Witten! Danke!We're all back home after a fantastic week in Germany at Dark Skies over Witten VIII. One of the greatest events we've played, and we feel, one of the best performances we've ever given. Germany has always been a special place for us and Rhombus have always prided ourselves on being a European band. The emotions we felt on stage and Saturday are something we will always remember. We could see, feel and hear the audience were feeling the same. Rhombus works when it's fun, Fuelled by laughter, look up rather than down.Four people driving across five countries to spend time with friends old and new. Celebration of all that is good in life. Thanks to Carsten and the team. Looking forward to returning when we play Hamburg in October. Expect more of the same.

On the ferry for the Action Directe shows in Germany in '98, we pestered the DJ for 'Barbie Girl' all night and when it finally came on we were so wasted that we cleared the entire bar with our antics. We also got banned from the buffet for exploiting the all-you-can-eat loophole and having ten courses each 🙃

Decided it was time to get the old Stingray operational. Which was the original number one bass for Rhombus Problem was it had been played only once in the last 10 years. Almost totally neglected, and developed a bow so big it might have been better used by Robin Hood. Unplayable!Enter Beej Guitar Repairs. Ben fixed the bow, (Not that simple) then proceeded to overhaul and restore the whole bass. Finding and fixing issues big and small. The bass now looks stunning. Played tonight at rehearsal better and smoother than it ever has. (Even drew compliments from the others, who seldom even notice we have a bass in the band)Ben you're a superstar. Thank you!
